Making the most of our time together...

So my big 4 year old girl started prep this year, which is wonderful and exciting and she loves it! But my goodness I miss her! I miss having her home with me. I miss my little helper. I miss the cuddles throughout the day. I just miss hearing her little voice in the house...

So I decided to make the most of the nights, as well as the weekends. I have started keeping her up a little longer at night so that we have some time together after her little brother has gone to bed. And she loves it!!

Tuesday night I decided that it would be a good time for her to have her first go at scrapping. I put a few things out on the table for her and cut out any shapes she asked for in the card she chose, then she got to work glueing. I have to say I love it! Very proud of my girl...

Yesterday i picked up a couple of things from the shops so we could get to work making a birthday present and card for her little school friend, whose birthday she is going to this weekend. We made her a polymer heart charm on a leather strap necklace and a cute little bracelet. And of course we made a matching bracelet and necklace for Mia! She had a blast and did a great job of finding the letters and threading the beads...

And I think the card she made is adorable! I love homemade cards, all you need is blank card and a few little embelishments! So easy...

We then ended the evening snuggled on a chair with hot chocolates and cinnamon scrolls while she looked at her fave blog and watched the little videos! It was so so good... Im so looking forward to tonight!

I've just made a pot of tea and Im going to go scrap a page or two and then sew some felt eyes onto some eggies. Have a lovely afternoon!
