A Little Crafting, A Little Sewing and A Little Cooking...

And that all adds up to an awesome relaxing and productive weekend!

Gosh I love weekends like that. You know when you get to sunday night and look back over the weekend thinking I got so much done, relaxed and enjoyed my family. Those weekends rock. And lucky me, thats what I had.

It was a rainy windy weekend where I am which made it perfect for staying indoors, cosy and warm with a hefty supply of coffee and chocolate of course!

We still had a couple of errands to run . Yay, I love getting to tale the hubby with me, the extra set of hands mean we get to divide and conquer and we get to spend time together. We needed to head to Bunnings for some supplies, the discount store  and the supermarket. But the rest of the time was spent at home.

We drew with the kids, read with the kids, played with the kids. I painted the girls nails. We all watched Toy Story. It tried to get the kids interested in Willy Wonka (the original) no chance! I love it all the same. We cooked a roast on saturday, lamb yum! Had a barbeque lunch with one of the hubby's work buddies on sunday (before they shut themselves away for hours of study). And the kidlets and I baked cupcakes.

I got to catch up on lots of blog reading, I bookmarked loads of tutorials, so many projects I can't wait to start. I jotted down loads of blog post ideas, can't wait to flesh them out. And I got to sew up two table runners, one for our coffee table and one for the dining table. And I made a key rack. I love it, super cute, not to mention convenient. I haven't quite finished it, still need to stencil on some letters. Just was too impatient to wait to hang it! All in all I ended the weekend feeling refreshed and ready for the week ahead.

What do you do over the weekend?
