Two Weeks Of Handmade Christmas Ideas {Day Eight}

Hello and welcome to the Two Weeks Of Handmade Christmas Ideas series!

Did you see the first seven days? If you missed out you can catch up herehereherehereherehere and here. Let's get on with today's fun.

{Day Eight}

No-Sew Christmas Pillow Cover

I love adding a few simple things to my existing soft furnishings to add those extra little touches of Christmas. And what's better than a Christmas pillow cover.

For this project you can either use a plain pillow cover you already have, buy a nice cheap one or sew up one yourself. I already had this one from a previous decorating theme and it was a great blank canvas.

All you need to do is pick your fave Christmas fabric.

Cut it to a size that suits the front of your pillow cover.

Flip it over and apply hot glue around the edges

And glue that baby down.

You can leave it at that, but I am a sucker for ruffly lace. So I grabbed some from my stash and glued it around the edge of the Christmas fabric panel.

So quick and super cute. Mia has requested this pillow for her room once the Christmas decorations have been packed away for another year.

I hope you have fun decorating your own pillow cover to add your own easy touch of Christmas to your sofa, chair or bed. I mean, really, who could resist!

Come back tomorrow for a great kiddie craft to decorate their bedroom doors. They will love it and its an easy way to get them being creative in these last few days before Christmas.

Until then happy creating.
