Christmas is always so much fun. My fave time of year for sure. It feels so magical, even more so when you look at it through a child's eyes. This years entire Christmas season was wonderful. Filled with loads of special family moments, I just love having the ability to create those simple magical moments with my babies. And I am so thankful that Todd loves getting into the spirit as much as I do.
Those moments. Those memories. The smiles on our babies faces. They are worth everything to me.
It's always a little chaotic with Todd and I doing all the cooking, this year was hard not being at our own home to do it all. Next year we are both looking forward to being able to just sit back and relax on the day. No cooking for us next year on Christmas day. I want to be able to just enjoy every moment with our babies, especially with it being the little man's first Christmas. Yep we my not get the food we want, and it may not have all the trimmings, but I am okay with that. It is someone else's turn to realise how much work goes into Christmas day, while everyone else gets to sit back and relax. After 9 years of doing it all, I think we have earned a year off.
I hope you all had a wonderful, family filled Christmas too.
