What a weekend. You know it's going to be a pretty good one when it starts with an impromptu day date with your husband (and wee baby Connor, who napped pretty much the whole time). It was so lovely to be able to talk, laugh, smooch and enjoy time with Todd without the interruption of our two bigger babies. And get to drink coffee and eat amazing sushi. And wander the shops. And walk by the beach in the drizzling rain. Day dates rock my socks.
As for Mother's Day. When it starts with all of us piled into the one bed for early morning snuggles and ends with a steaming hot bubble bath, you know it's a good one. I got spoilt by Todd and the babies, I got to go to my all time favourite cafe for breakfast then stroll through my favourite markets.
This Mother's Day I am thankful for my health and that of my precious family, because all the celebrating and being spoilt means zero without them.
